Tadgh Lynch Perpetual Trophy
This award (Tadgh Lynch Perpetual Trophy) is made annually by the Irish Master Athletes Association in recognition to an Athlete who has made a major contribution to Masters Athletics over a number of years.
Tadgh was one of the founding members of the Irish Association back in the
1970s and he would have also been well known within the European Veterans Athletic Association until his untimely death in 1991. As both a competitor and official his contributionto Athletics and to Master's Athletics in particular was immense.
